Directions:

Rough Island equestrian park is located on Rough Island next to Tasman’s Rabbit Island beauty spot.

Directions on leaving Nelson:

  • Take State Highway 6 towards Richmond. Travel for 8.4 miles to Richmond.

  • After passing Richmond town Centre (on your left) continue for approx. 1.3 miles to a large roundabout. (Called 3 Brothers Roundabout Locally)

  • At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto State Highway 60 (Coastal Highway) towards Motueka

  • Continue on State Highway 60. (4.16 Miles)

  • Turn right onto Redwood Rd and travel towards Rabbit Island (1.7 Miles)

  • Cross the bridge and turn immediately left onto TicToc Road.

  • Continue on TicToc Road for approx. 0.66 miles

  • The entrance to Rough Island Equestrian Centre is on your left-hand side through a set of gates.

  • It is signposted for your convenience.

Directions from Wakefield / Murchison

Follow the State Highway 6 towards Nelson until you reach Three Brothers Roundabout (1st Roundabout before Nelson / Richmond) then follow State Highway 60 as above.

 

Directions from Motueka

Travel on the State Highway 60 (Coastal Highway)

After passing Research Orchard Road take the next left onto Redwood Rd and follow as above.
